Nrutyasangini dance institute imparts training in Bharatnatyam, Indian Folk Dances and yoga. And what would one expect from such an Institute a stage performance. With Sheetal at the helm of affairs, the students of NDI have performed at almost every state level function and competition like – Kala Mahakumbh, State level Youth celebrations, Youth Festival, Vibrant Gujarat Global Investor Summit, Kite Festivals, Rann Utsav, Independence Day, Republic Day Celebrations .
Not just participating, but NDI students have even won laurels and have been awarded as Winners of several competition in several states-Delhi, Goa, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Mumbai, Karnataka, and IIT Chennai among other. NDI students have even performed at the silver jubilee celebration of BSF.
The Dance drama creations and performance of NDI like Ramayana, MorPinchh, Utsav, Rangilu Gujarat, Vande Gujarat, Meghdootam, Dasha Avtar, Swaram Nrutyam Nrutyam Swaram among others have been applauded by several dignitaries across the state. These dramas are creations of the Guru of NDI Sheetal.
NDI has even managed the Swarnim Gujarat Mahotsav at Nagpur in front of Chief Minister and now the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and have distinction of performing at the National Khaadi Utsav held at Ahmedabad. NDI has been the unbeaten performer during Kankaria Carnival since its inception. The founder of NDI Sheetal has also leaded the team of women for “Nari Shakti Dance Drama” organised on 3rd June in Delhi where Mrs. Sonia Gandhi chaired the function. We have seen them organizing two events very recently “Saras Melo” at Vadodara and “Gramin Melo” of “NABARD” at Vastrapur Hatt.
NDI has even organised the event and performed at the Inauguration and Valedictory function of the long cultural event at National Handicraft Fair (Rashtriya hastkala melo ) at river front, in Ahmedabad, the event organised by Industrial Extension Cottage “ Indext-C”.
In 2016 Nrutyasangini Dance Institute was the only group selected from Gujarat to perform at Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union. The group also performed recently in February 2017 in Vasantotsav at Sanskruti Kunj Gandhinagar and has been a regular performer at Kutch Carnival.
NDI had the performed at the grand opening of State Transport bus stand at Geeta Mandir Ahmedabad in presence of the then Chief Guest Chief Minister of Gujarat and now the Governor of Madhya Pradesh Shrimati Anandiben Patel.
NDI and her director were also called upon for the inauguration ceremony of ‘Dhanvantari Rath’ by “Gujarat Makaan Ane Anya Bandhkaam Shramyogi Kalyan Board, Gujarat”. In the presence of the Minister of Labour, the group presence the dance drama on the life of Pandit Dindayal, and it was the children of the labour class. The dance was performed under the Pandit Deendayal Shatabdi celebration by Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare.
NDI also presented a dance drama on the life of Bharat Ratna Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar's life Style on his Birthday ‘Social Justice Day’.
